Minimum attention was given to workers in the early days because companies had very little knowledge about the importance of labourers. They considered workers as another set of machinery. No one worried about employee welfare. However, the present scenario is totally different. Humans are treated as the most valuable assets in business firms.

Therefore, business administration gives its full attention on feelings and emotions of workers.

Business firms and their administrators know the significance of human resource to achieve business goals. Hence, they care much more about their employees and treat them well. Because of these new concepts and procedures, many HR procedures have been changed a lot.

Workers will give their maximum productivity and there will be no conflicts between the management and workers. Old HR tactics will not work for now because it is not easy to deal with people now. Therefore, modern HR practices should comply with global economic conditions. HR managers should understand how the world works.

Maintaining smooth and effective communication within the organization is another important function in modern HR. It improves business processes and reduces conflicts and misunderstandings.

Knowing cultural diversity is another modern HR requirement. Suitable procedures and policies should be implemented to control people who come from different cultural backgrounds.
